As a Postnatal Doula, my role is to support a woman after she has had her baby.
But...I've been thinking. What if there was a way for women to spend time to think about what postnatal life might look like before they had their babies?
Motherhood and Me classes aim to do just that. I'd like to create a space for women to:
Think about what life might be like once they have had their baby
Think about what support they might need and where they can find it
Meet other women who are about to enter the wonderful world of Motherhood and create a vital support network
Take some well-needed 'me' time ahead of giving birth
I'm currently in the process of shaping the course and would really value some thoughts and feedback. I've created a really quick survey (of 5 questions!) which will help me make Motherhood and Me relevant and attractive to prospective Mamas. If you are a Mum-to-be or already a Mother, please could you take 2 minutes out of your day to complete the survey? Please share the link with your friends and family, too. The more people that complete it, the better!
I am so grateful for your support and guidance on providing this much-needed space and support for women. Thank you.
